Production Planning is the process of aligning demand with manufacturing capacity to create production and procurement schedules for finished products and component materials. In any live Production Planning module, locations of manufacturing plants and storage within the plants, should be available in the system.

Production Planning is the process of aligning demand with manufacturing capacity to create production and procurement schedules for finished products and component materials.

SAP PP is an important module of SAP. It tracks and makes a record of the manufacturing process flows, for example, the planned and actual costs. Also, goods movements from the conversion of raw material to semi-finished goods. It is fully integrated with the other SAP modules: SD, MM, QM, FICO & PM.

Reality is every subject is so vast these days and everyone wants to learn it in a month or two. EMAX Technologies tries to design its course that would suit a wide variety of audiences. They try and keep beginners in their focus for the course (unless it’s a specialization course) but they way they ramp after initial classes, it can leave you high and dry OR you can put double the effort and reap the benefits. Personally, I prefer researching online and keep a good book to complement the course content.
